1. | ![]() Notes: Twin to sister Annie Johnson. There is no record of a birth certificate. Jennie's death certificate has the same information as Annie's. We have searched extensively for gravesites for the twins without success. There is an old cemetery in Cromwell that we didn't even know existed. We have checked the records there also with the woman that has kept the records for eons but have had no luck. They tell us that they could have been buried in the back yard. Also in those days, people would often be offered space for a "preemie" in a family member's or friend's family plot. In that case, there would not be a headstone, nor a record. Premature births were, of course, quite common and people did not have the money to purchase a cemetery plot. |
